On January 28 (local time), Professor Yong’an Cao, President, led a group of 23 persons, including Qiqihar Institute of Engineering, Hainan Vocational University of Science and Technology, Yunnan University of Business Management, Yunnan Hanwen Education Group, and Yunnan Medical Health College to visit Chartry Hospital and BMW Leipzig Factory in Berlin, Germany.

In the morning, the delegation was led by Dr. Huang, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine of Chartry Hospital, to visit the hospital and exchange ideas. Chartry Hospital is the largest medical institution in Europe, with a long history of more than 300 years. Experts engaged in research, teaching and treatment in this hospital are all of the international first-class level. The hospital is divided into four medical districts in Berlin, with 100 specialized hospitals and research institutes, 17 specialized centers and 13000 employees. It is known as “the best general hospital in Germany”. The delegation exchanged and discussed relevant issues with Dr. Huang after listening to introduction of the needs and qualification requirements of nurses in Germany. Besides, Dr. Huang made an introduction to the nature and division of nurses, attendant and care workers, the export of labor services for nurses, the process of medical treatment and diagnosis in Germany and the promotion conditions for medical personnel. Finally, under the leadership of Dr. Huang, the delegation visited the psychological consultation building, outpatient building, library and other diagnosis and treatment environments with humanistic characteristics. In addition, they communicated with Professor Li from department of Cardiovascular Medicine on advanced clinical technology in Germany and visited Interventional Radiology Department and ICU ward.

In the afternoon, the delegation arrived at the BMW Leipzig factory in the east of Germany and visited the welding shop, paint shop and assembly shop of the factory. This factory is BMW’s fifth largest factory. It took three years to build with the most advanced production line of BMW in Germany. It can produce 1060 cars a day, mainly including BMW 1 series and 2 series and 200 BMW electric vehicles. The overall design idea of the factory is very innovative. The open office space makes the communication among departments more convenient. The conveyor belt shuttling over the office area transports the assembled car body at any time, so as to integrate the office area and the production workshop. In the welding shop, dozens of mechanical arms are flexibly and precisely welded, and the welding situation is detected by infrared cameras. The welding process of the whole body is fully mechanized and intelligent. The pre-assembled car body enters the painting shop, and then enters the general assembly shop. The car body and chassis are fixed and connected with the oil circuit and circuit detecting signals. A black box with customer's requirements is placed in the front cover of the car body to realize personalized production in the general assembly process.

Through the visit to Chartry Hospital, the delegation was deeply impressed by the hospital’s humanistic environment and the comfortable diagnosis and treatment environment which is  conducive to the recovery of patients. While through the visit to the BMW Leipzig factory, the delegation was deeply inspired. In the era of industry 4.0, it is not only necessary to speed up product innovation, but also to meet the personalized needs of customers.
