On January 29th (local time), the President Professor Cao Yong’an led a team of 23 people from Qiqihar Institute of Engineering, Hainan Vocational College of Science and Technology, Yunnan University of Business Management, Yunnan Hanwen Education Investment Group, Yunnan Medical Health College successively visited German Foundation for Education and Handicrafts(SBH) and Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal in Germany.
SBH is one of the leading international training services in Germany. It is a designated training center for Siemens, Festo and Systems Applications and SAP. The delegation visited SBH to hear Ms Schwass's training on On-the-Job Training, Continuing Education, Human Resources and Distance Learning, and visited the Hydraulic and Pneumatic Transmission Laboratory, CNC Machine Tool Laboratory, having a deeper understanding of the training mode of SBH after the communication with the experimental teacher. The President Professor Cao Yong’an also had a heated discussion with Ms. Schwass on the issues of course construction. SBH affirmed the practice of the college in the course reform, and the two parties found the intersection of cooperation and reached the initial intention of cooperation in the course construction after listening to the introduction of the talent cultivation mode of "Government-University-Enterprise Cooperation, Industry- University-Research Integration, and Unity in Teaching, Study and Work" of Qiqihar Institute of Engineering.
In the afternoon, the delegation visited Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal which is located in the state of Saxony and listened to the introduction of Professor Ding Yongjian, Executive Vice President, on the University's department layout, faculty strength, university-enterprise cooperation and scientific research achievements. President Professor Cao Yong'an, also discussed with Professor Ding Yongjian on the construction of domestic application-oriented undergraduate colleges, and exchanged views on the construction, implementation and evaluation of application-oriented courses. Professor Ding Yongjian spoke highly of our school’s running concept and mode, and both sides presented souvenirs to each other, and planned to promote the study and training of our teachers to Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal, so as to realize further cooperation.
By visiting SBH and Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal, the delegation learned and understood the advanced curriculum model of Germany, which is helpful to absorb advanced education and teaching concepts in the course of curriculum construction in the future, and constantly improve the course construction.
