On January 31(local time), President Professor Cao Yong’an, led a team of 23 members from Qiqihar Institute of Engineering, Hainan Institute of Science and Technology, Yunnan Institute of Economics and Management, Yunnan Hanwen Education Investment Group and Yunnan Medical and Health Vocational College to visit North Paris University and visited the Education Office of the Chinese Embassy in France.
In the morning, the delegation visited the University under the leadership of Associate Professor Jia Zixian. North Paris University, also known as the University of Paris XIII, is one of the 13 universities derived from the former Sorbonne University. The university consists of 5 districts and 30 laboratory buildings, and Galileo College (L'Institut Galilee) is famous for its engineering major. After the visit, the school's Director of Asian Affairs Yann CHARLE and the master of process science MAMADOU on education, made a detailed introduction about teaching and laboratory construction of North Paris University for the delegation. And then President Professor Cao Yong’an carried a deep discussion with associate professor Jia Zixian about the mode of "Government-University-Enterprise Cooperation, Industry-University-Research Integration, and Unity in Teaching , Study and Work" of Qiqihar Institute of Engineering and North Paris University's unique elite education system, project-based teaching, team-based cooperation, the promotion of "doing while learning".
In the afternoon, the delegation visited the Education Department of the Chinese Embassy in France where Yang Jin, counselor of Chinese Embassy in France, introduced the educational mechanism and system of French to the delegation. And then Professor Cao Yong’an exchanged the practice of Qiqihar Institute of Engineering in the aspects of applied curriculum construction, work task curriculum, teaching and doing integration, theory and practice, how to give full play to classroom characteristics and cultivate talents. Former President of the French Vocational Certification Council, Mr. George Asseraf, introduced the establishment, characteristics and role of the French qualification framework system. Ms. Lucie Paquy, Director of the Teaching Innovation Department of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry gave a presentation on the special teaching methods of vocational education in France.
Yang Jin, counselor of Chinese Embassy in France, and George Asseraf gave credit for the mode and principle of Qiqihar Institute of Engineering and made deep discussion on the improvement of teaching quality, teaching methodology and employment, so as to build a favorable platform for further cooperation in high education.
On February 1st (local time), the delegation also visited the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame de Paris and the Louvre, the world famous cultural resorts, so as to further broaden their horizons.
