President Professor Cao Yong’an led a cultural expedition to London, UK

On February 2-4 (local time), President Professor Cao Yongan led the delegation of 14 people to London who were from Qiqihar Institute of Engineering, Yunnan College of Business and Management, Yunnan Hanwen Education Investment Group, and Yunnan Medical Health Vocational College. They visited the British Museum, Science Museum, Natural History Museum, Imperial College London, and University of Cambridge. They also made investigation and communication on curriculum construction, teacher training, international perspective and joint education in University of Cambridge.

The visit of delegation to the museum will help them learn about British education, science and technology, culture and social development, which further broadens their knowledge of history and culture.

During the visit to the two institutions, the delegation learned about their humanistic environment, hardware conditions, teaching mode, overall atmosphere, and the composition of teachers and students. Ms. Tracy, a member of association of British Chinese professors, who is in charge of the work of studying in the UK, highly agreed with President Professor Cao Yongan’s educational philosophy in the communication. With the development of the global economy, the demand of the international market for education and cultural development is increasing rapidly. It is an urgent matter to seize the opportunity and expand the domestic market for promoting the development of education and culture. The two sides also had deep exchanges on curriculum reform, students’ study abroad and teacher training and so on.
